Me

I’ve been a Christian since 1988 and I’m now a Deacon (Church Leader) at The People’s Hall Evangelical Church in Bridgnorth and preacher of the Word of God. I’m currently studying Theology part-time with The Evangelical Movement of Wales which involves twice yearly trips to beautiful Bala in North Wales, a world away from the West Midlands where I live with my family.

I’ve been married to Elaine since 2002 and in 2004 God blessed us with an evermore beautiful daughter called Louisa who daily lights up our lives. During 2011 we lost our unborn son Samuel to Anecephaly, a terminal form of Spina-Biffida. Although it was a hard time, the hardest and saddest of our lives, God blessed us and continues to do so though the people who supported us and our decision not to terminate the pregnancy. Samuel never took a breath on this earth but we trust that in heaven he sings praises with the angels and one day we’ll meet our first born son (2 Samuel 12:23)

I follow Formula One amongst other forms of motor sport and Liverpool FC (they used to be quite good).

To pay the bills I’m an IT Systems Manager at Birmingham City University. Mainly that involves Unix, Linux and database administration.

    Question do use LibresOffice?

    1. Hi Jerry!
      Thanks for the encouragement 🙂

I wish I had the time to post more often here, sometimes I have ideas but no time to write anything down. Things might change next year so watch this space!

To answer your question, yes I use LibreOffice being a Linux user it’s the logical choice.
